If you haven’t heard yet, Gucci’s Fall 2017 show in Milan was revolutionary. It’s newest Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, expanded upon Gucci’s earthly and garden aesthetics. It was held in a greenhouse in a post-apocalyptic manner, full of Gucci’s “creatures.” Specifically, his show shed light on a major question: What are we going to do when the ice caps melt? He made fashion and his brand important – it actually made a statement. And, for the first time, the men’s and women’s shows were combined. The brand dubbed it’s latest collection “The Alchemist’s Garden.” Here are some major themes coming to fashion through Gucci’s line:
